Partnership for Strong Communities

About Partnership for Strong Communities

The Partnership for Strong Communities (PSC) plays a vital role in shaping solutions to affordable housing issues in Connecticut.

The Partnership is a leader in policy development, advocacy and research in Connecticut. PSC produces studies, informs state policymakers and municipal officials, and convenes scholars, practitioners, business executives and government leaders at our Hartford-based home, The Lyceum Resource and Conference Center. The Partnership staffs the statewide HOMEConnecticut, a statewide broad-based Collective Impact initiative of partners working to ensure everyone in Connecticut has access to safe, stable, accessible, and affordable housing in the community of their choice.

The Partnership creates and distributes reports, including annual assessments of Connecticut’s housing market. In addition, the Partnership produces an annual series of housing policy forums which explore the connections between affordable housing and various policy issues, such as education, the environment, transportation, healthcare, municipal budgets and more.
