About the Alaska Coalition on Housing and Homelessness

The Alaska Coalition on Housing and Homelessness (AKCH2) is Alaska’s homeless and affordable housing advocacy body. AKCH2 mission is to increase affordable housing and end homelessness in Alaska. Given the vast geographic area of the state and the increased cost of living/development, accomplishing this mission comes with unique challenges. Their work focuses on raising awareness through strategic and constant advocacy in addition to building bridges between organizations that have traditionally operated in silos.
