The National LGBTQ Task Force advances full freedom, justice and equality for LGBTQ people.
The National LGBTQ Task Force educates federal policymakers about the need for non-discrimination protections that ensure the whole person is able to advocate for themselves when discriminated against, wherever that discrimination takes place. They work with a wide range of progressive partner organizations across the country both at the state and federal level. The Task Force shifts the conversation from a political and technical one to a national and inclusive conversation based on morals and values.
The National LGBTQ Task Force believes that all people should have the right to safe, affordable housing – including LGBTQ people, people of color, people with disabilities, and other communities that are more likely to face discrimination when trying to access housing, health care, education, and employment.
