“HEROES Act” Includes Campaign’s Priorities; Help Us Keep the Momentum Going!
Yesterday, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) unveiled the Democratic proposal for the next coronavirus relief package, called the “HEROES Act.” Thanks to your advocacy, the “HEROES Act” includes the campaign’s three most urgent priorities to ensure housing stability during and after the pandemic: 1) $100B for emergency rental assistance; 2) a uniform evictions moratorium; and 3) $11.5B for homeless assistance.
This is an important step forward, but we have a lot of work ahead in both the House and Senate to ensure that these housing resources are included in any final negotiated package.

$11.5 billion to protect people experiencing homelessness
A national, uniform moratorium on evictions
