About Housing Action Illinois 

Housing Action Illinois is a statewide coalition that has been leading the movement to protect and expand the availability of quality, affordable housing in Illinois for more than 30 years. The 160+ member coalition includes housing counseling agencies, homeless service providers, developers of affordable housing, and policymakers. Housing Action Illinois unites a diverse group of people and organizations to work toward an Illinois where everyone has a stable, good home. Over the years, they’ve had many successes, and they now work to protect these accomplishments and build upon them.
