About Prosperity Indiana
Prosperity Indiana is a statewide membership organization for the individuals and organizations strengthening Hoosier communities. Since its founding in 1986, Prosperity Indiana has grown to more than 200 members from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
Mission: Prosperity Indiana builds a better future for our communities by providing advocacy, leveraging resources, and engaging an empowered network of members to create inclusive opportunities that build assets and improve lives.
Achieving prosperity for all Hoosiers lies within the work of our members to help meet basic needs, preserve and expand affordable housing, and connect individuals and families to education, employment, and economic opportunity.
- Communities by promoting Comprehensive Community Development efforts across the state, which includes addressing social determinants of health and encouraging inclusive growth.
- Organizations by improving member capacity to impact communities and individuals and track the progress of their efforts.
- Individuals by fostering innovation in financial capability and asset building strategies and increasing opportunities to access resources.
Highlights
Prosperity Indiana sends action alerts to the Hoosier Housing Needs Coalition, which has over 1,500 members and subscribers, as opportunities for outreach to Indiana’s congressional delegation arise.
